What are the thoughts on Ryan Air? I know they've been around a long time; I looked on AirSafe. I also know that there are issues with pilots treated badly. I was concerned that management could impact safety. Thank you!!

There is often media noise around them, but it is usually something to do with customer service or their CEO.
As far as pilots go, all I can say is that I've personally known three instructors who later went on to fly for them. All three were very able and highly disciplined guys. I'd never think twice about trusting them at the controls.
So, safety wise, I think they are as safe as any other major European airline.
